FPC Annual Dinner 2010 - with Mexico

ambassador A spectacular evening in the famous grand ballroom at the opulent 1920's Park Lane Hotel with capacity attendance and guest of honour His Excellency Eduardo Medina-Mora.

Guests were welcomed by the outstanding Mexteca Mariachi Band and Dancers who set the festival tone for the rest of this fabulous evening.

The UK has enjoyed a long and successful trading relationship with Mexico which was highly evident in Executive Chef Andrew Bennett's amazing menu and Sophie Hannah's extraordinary floral displays.

Fine wine courtesy of LA Cetto, one of the oldest and most renowned and wineries in Mexico, and the very best tequila provided by Clase Azul courtesy of Gary Hazel secured a delightful carnival atmosphere.

This was a true celebration of the industry and of this vibrant nation - a truly unique event where a traditional English formal dinner combines with the culture of a major exporting nation at a superb London venue.

“Mexico is a truly vibrant nation offering an extraordinary variety of fruit, vegetables and flowers, most of which we are simply unable to grow in the UK and which serve only to enrich our British culture and encourage a healthier diet within our multicultural society.”
