EMAIL USHealth & Safety

The FPC appointed Cope to provide free telephone advice, and ongoing health and safety support, to its members. Cope provide health and safety services across the board from first aid, manual handling and forklift driver training through to noise assessment.
Cope has been providing health and safety assistance to Food producers, growers, packers and distributors for over 15 years. Cope applies common sense in the interpretation of health and safety laws such that they are applicable to the Fresh Produce Industry. The benefit to your industry is not only in the reduction of the personal costs resulting from poor health and safety, but in improving your business effectiveness and giving it the competitive edge.
FREE HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
The FPC in association with Cope can now supply you with a health and safety policy which can make a positive contribution to your business. The policy document provides simple measures that you can take to put health and safety on a more pro-active footing in your business. The policy is “stand alone” and so can work in conjunction with other business systems.
To obtain your free health and safety policy, you will need to submit brief details of your business to Cope. In the first instance simply email us your name and telephone number to fpc@jwcope.co.uk (hard copies are available at cost - Telephone 0115 978 4040)
