We are the trade association for the fresh produce industry and represent our members in key areas.
We organise a range of meetings and forums within our divisions to discuss current issues and concerns and take action on behalf of members.
We work closely with a range of stakeholders including DEFRA, HMRC and RPAI. We have successfully influenced the implementation of the revised Plant Health legislation promoting the acceptance of a risk-based approach to import inspections, and development of an electronic system of notifying arrival to ensure minimum disruption to members’ businesses.
