EU Settlement Scheme - How to support your EU national employees beyond Brexit

Home Office workshop

FPC is hosting a workshop with the Home Office on the EU Settlement Scheme on Friday 5 October 2018.

This event aims to provide you with essential information on how to support your EU national employees in applying for Settled Status.

You are invited to come and find out more about the scheme which will give EU citizens and their family members the right to live, work and access public funds if they want to stay in the UK beyond 31 December 2020. The Scheme is being phased in and will be fully open by the end of March 2019.

Our presenters from the Home Office will explain:

  • What is the EU Settlement Scheme and who is eligible
  • How the application system will operate and the implementation period
  • What support companies can provide legally to EU nationals and what they cannot do
  • Proof of Settled Status
  • Pre-settled Status and transition to Settled Status
  • How companies can manage their compliance.

The workshop will start at 1000 am and will be held in the Peterborough Suite at the East of England Showground, Peterborough PE2 6XE. We envisage that the workshop will finish at 1200.

This event is open to all FPC members. Delegates must register to attend this event. To book your free place on the workshop, please email
