FPC Brexit Briefing

Preparing for Brexit - What you need to know

FPC is hosting Brexit briefing to help you prepare your business. Join us on 28 February, at the Kingsgate Conference Centre, Peterborough.  The event is free to attend for members and a limited number of guest places will be available at a cost.

Whether you’re involved in importing from the EU or from elsewhere, or producing in the UK, we will cover your business. We have a range of speakers from Government departments and agencies to cover what you need to know about:

  • Customs registration, declarations and clearing consignments
  • Plant health pre-notification and inspection for imports and exports
  • How to manage your organic certification
  • Meeting pesticide and biocide regulations and managing Maximum Residue Levels.

We’ll be looking what happens in the event of there being a deal with the EU or not by 30 March 2019 and giving you the latest information on the UK’s negotiations for future trading both with the EU and our many global trading partners, including the position on tariffs and quotas.

We’ll also be covering the EU Settlement Scheme for your EU workers and how you can support them, as well managing temporary labour requirements.

There’ll be opportunities to raise your questions during the day and hear from the regulatory experts. We’ll also be showing you how to get more information.
